BPI processes mineral by-products into quality low cost finished products. The company specializes in the processing of inorganic solid by-products, including magnesium oxides, zirconium oxides, aluminum silicates, calcium silicates, calcium aluminates, silicon carbides, iron oxides, sulfur, aluminum, silicon, ferroalloys, soda ash, cryolites and carbons. Minerals include iron pyrites, wollanstonite, magnesite and bauxite. Our processing includes crushing, milling, screening, drying, calcining, blending and packaging industrial mineral products. BPI markets its products primarily to the steel and refractory industries and has manufacturing facilities in New Castle, PA; Schenley, PA; McKees Rocks, PA; Muskogee, OK; and Bessemer, AL. BPI is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and maintains a detailed quality control system. We frequently look to outside companies for additional processing or storage. Through these independent companies, BPI currently processes or inventories material throughout the U.S. and Canada. Founded in 1982, BPI now ships in excess of 10,000 tons of finished product monthly.
